Pharmacy Technician

Individuals who aspire to work in the healthcare industry but prefer to not be in frontline situations or who desire a predictable daily schedule. 

Five-month program, in person.

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) – prepares participants to work with pharmacists to read and interpret prescriptions and define drugs by generic and brand names, as well as dosage calculations, I.V. flow rates, drug compounding, dose conversions, dispensing of prescriptions, inventory control and billing and reimbursement.  

$2,154 includes textbooks, lab supplies and an exam voucher. 

Eligible participants must: 

• Be 18 years of age 
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent 
• Must have never been convicted of any non-alcohol, drug related misdemeanor or felony

To be successful in the Certified Personal Trainer program, participants must be able to meet the following sensory and physical standards:
