Student-Prepared Lunch & Dinner

Sage Student Bistro Logo

Sage Student Bistro is a classroom where students gain experience working in a restaurant while supervised by experienced teachers and chefs. Classes that operate during restaurant hours are Restaurant Service I & II, Restaurant Cookery I & II, Restaurant Desserts, and Restaurant Leadership.

Standard Hours of Operation (while classes are in session):
Monday - Thursday
Lunch: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Dinner: 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Sage Dress Code & Reservations

Dress Code: Business casual to casual elegant

  • Full pants, long-sleeved, collared shirt with or without a tie, skirts, dresses, blazers, cardigans
  • No denim or jeans, flip-flops, hats, t-shirts, flannel, or shorts

Reservations: Reservations are recommended for lunch and required dinner and may be made for parties of up to six persons. Reservations for parties larger than six, please call 531-622-2328.

Lunch at Sage

Students in the MCC Casual Dining course design and prepare sandwich specials as a part of their course work. On select dates the Casual Dining students’ sandwiches will be featured for one day only, until sold out.

Our Small Plate Menu Concept

You taste more. We cook more. That is the goal.

Each plate leaves the kitchen as soon as it is created, arriving in two or three “waves.” Indulge in each as they arrive. Enjoy!

Lunch Hours: Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Parking: During lunch service, guests may park in College lots as available. Reserved parking for Bistro guests is available in the lot to the north of Building 22.

Dinner at Sage

Dinner Hours: Monday through Thursday, 6–8 p.m. (last seating at 8 p.m.)

Parking: During dinner service, guests may park in College lots as available. Reserved parking for Bistro guests is available in the lot to the north of Building 22.

Wine Service

The Sage Student Bistro serves wine and beer at dinner. We maintain a concise but thoughtful beverage list featuring red and white wines, as well as an assortment of local and imported beers. If you have a special bottle of wine you would like to enjoy in our restaurant, corking service is available for just $10 per 750 ml bottle.
