EMSP 1000 – CPR for Healthcare Providers: Required for admission to our EMT, Paramedicine, LPN, ADN, Medical Assisting, and Respiratory Therapy programs. Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare professionals trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality CPR, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.
EMSP 1010 – Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED: CPR course for non-healthcare personnel. Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED trains anyone with little or no medical training to provide first aid, CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely and effective manner. The primary audience for this class included teachers, child care professionals, personnel in the trades, and family members who want practice and training in what to do in the first few minutes of a wide range of emergencies.
