The mission of the TRIO/SSS is to support participants by providing educational services and support that foster persistence in their pursuit of a trade certificated or post-secondary degree. Its purpose is to under-gird the supportive efforts of the TRIO/SSS program, within the four-county area, by meeting certain needs and providing resources that are outside the scope of resources provided to TRIO/SSS programs. Funds may be used for program auctions and participant activities for students who are currently in the program. There will be no direct payments to students.
