Prerequisite: Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED equivalent recommended.
Time Requirement to Complete Credential: 14 weeks of in-person instruction.

About CompTIA Tech+ Program
The MCC CompTIA Tech+ Program with Google IT Support is an in-person, instructor-led program that prepares participants for entry-level IT support roles through foundational technical skills, professional competencies, hands-on experiences and workplace learning. Students gain experience with troubleshooting, computer systems, networking, cybersecurity fundamentals, operating systems and other essential technology concepts.
Upon completion, participants will be prepared to pursue entry-level IT support opportunities and continue their pathway toward industry-recognized technology credentials. The program includes CompTIA Tech+ certification preparation and Google IT Support Professional Certificate content to help participants build foundational knowledge for careers in information technology.

Certification
The CompTIA Tech+ Program prepares participants to earn the CompTIA Tech+ certification, which validates foundational technology knowledge and skills. The program also includes Google IT Support Professional Certificate content, covering essential IT concepts such as troubleshooting, networking, operating systems and cybersecurity.
Cost
The cost of the CompTIA Tech+ Program with Google IT Support is $3,644 and includes all required coursework. Financial assistance may be available for eligible participants through the Nebraska GAP Assistance Program, Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funding, or Workforce Pell funding.
