About This Program
The MCC Medical Assisting Program is an instructor-led program that prepares participants for entry-level careers in healthcare by developing the clinical and administrative skills needed to support physicians and other healthcare professionals. Through classroom instruction and hands-on learning activities, participants explore the role of the medical assistant while building foundational knowledge in medical terminology, health records, infection control, medication assistance, laboratory procedures and medical emergencies.
Participants practice real-world medical scenarios in a safe learning environment, strengthening critical-thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills while gaining confidence in performing essential medical assisting responsibilities.
Upon successful completion, participants will be prepared to take the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification exam.

The cost of the Medical Assisting Program is $4,323 and includes all required coursework and the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification exam fee.

Eligibility
Participants must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED and submit a completed application. The program is designed for individuals seeking entry-level employment as medical assistants and eligibility to sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification exam.
