MCC Drone Flight School is a comprehensive learning program focused on teaching the fundamentals of safety, maintenance, and technique for piloting small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) or drones. The program is taught by Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certified flight instructors and is aligned with FAA rules and regulations to fly a drone safely and effectively. Upon completion of all units, participants will train to take the licensing exam to become an FAA Certified Drone Pilot.
Individuals who aspire to operate drones commercially for applications related to agriculture, film or photography, surveying, inspections, weather forecasting, utilities or energy, construction, defense, insurance, mining, forestry, public safety, warehousing, distribution, or real estate. Also, for recreational applications including photo and video, wildlife viewing, hunting or sports, racing, gaming or as a hobby.
Three-unit program over four days, in person.

Prices include all class materials and access to test drones. Does not include license exam fee.
Drone Pilot 1 and 2 courses have no eligibility criteria.
Drone Pilot 3 requires participants to be 16 years of age or older and be able to read and speak English to take the certification exam.
