Metropolitan Community College is committed to providing full disclosure of all consumer information as required by state and federal laws and regulations. We want the consumers of our programs and services to make fully informed choices regarding the institution they have chosen to attend. The items below include descriptions of services and procedures and sources or links to other information.

Under the Federal Title IV cash management regulations, institutions are required to publicly disclose any contract that governs a Tier One or Tier Two Arrangement as well as information about the costs incurred by students who elect to use a financial account offered under one of those arrangements.

The Regulations included, among others, provisions related to how disbursement options and financial products can be marketed to students, the delivery of debit cards to students, the sharing of student information under certain arrangements, prohibitions on the incurrence of certain types of account fees to student account-holders and requirements related to ATM access for student account-holders.

College Navigator provides information about schools, including costs, financial aid, enrollment, and other information. MCC’s information can be found on the U.S. Department of Education’s College Navigator – National Center for Education Statistics site.

All institutions receiving federal funding are required to provide educational programming pertaining to the United States Constitution on Sept. 17 of each year. All students are notified of campus activities celebrating Constitution Day.

The Drug Free Schools and Communities Act Amendments of 1989 requires institutions who participate in federal student aid programs to provide information to its students, faculty and employees to prevent drug and alcohol abuse. Possible repercussions of violating state and institutional drug and alcohol policies is available in Student Code of Conduct.

The Student Code of Conduct outlines the general standard of conduct expected of students and the process. Any conduct on the part of a student that has, or might reasonably be seen to have an adverse affect on the integrity or the proper functioning of the College, or the health, safety, rights or property of the College or its members and visitors, is subject to discipline under this Code.

Metropolitan Community College does not require vaccinations for general admission. However, vaccinations may be required for admission to a specific class or program. Students should contact their program for specific vaccination requirements. MCC suggests that students consult with their healthcare provider regarding recommended vaccinations when deciding whether they want to be vaccinated.
