Writing Center

The MCC Writing Center is staffed by English language and English language learning instructors committed to providing writing encouragement to students, faculty, and community members.

The Writing Center works with writers learning about any subject. Students, employees and community members are invited to share their written work with us. We assist writers with everything from brainstorming to revision. We help with language exploration, developing voice, gaining confidence, determining how to interpret and thoroughly answer assignment questions, and how to take creative liberty.

Appointments preferred at all locations, including online. Make an appointment at AccuCampus. For assistance, please email academicsupport@mccneb.edu or call us at 531-233-0982.

Aside from one-on-one appointments, the Writing Center also offers workshops on academic and creative topics, as well assistance with researching and citing sources.
